Google on love

About two months ago I broke up with my boyfriend. We were good friends before we got together so we are attempting a friendship again - by email to begin with. When I opened his email today the following ads were running down the side of my gmail account...

  1. I've always been a fatalist my whole life. The ethos 'everything happens for a reason' and reading into signs no matter how big or small relating to the people and events in my life is always how I've approached things.

However, lately I've found that this is perhaps not always the best approach to take. Overriding signs my mind thinks it sees over gut instinct has landed me in hot water lately. At the end of the day, instinct is always the number one feeling you should go on. Even if your heart and mind tell you that he's right for you and you should maybe give him just one more chance, your gut, all along, will punch the truth into you. Walk away, focus on someone else...Something just ain't quite right here.....And then you get the evidence or hear the truth your gut was trying to tell you and you kick yourself for not realising this sooner.

Either way, friendship is a great thing and when both people genuinely want to preserve it, then that is pretty special.

    Ignore Google!! x

  2. Yeah your totally right. As an idealist I want to believe gut instinct and fate work in union, but it's not always the case.

On another note now I feel very aware of Google scanning my emails, it's like a third person in my email conversations. I wonder is nothing sacred in this digital age!
